Marielle Jakobsons by Chuck JohnsonEpisode 434 of Brainwashed Radio: The Podcast Edition is now live featuring guest Marielle Jakobsons

Marielle has been releasing music for over a decade. Her first album as Darwinsbitch, Ore, caught our attention back in 2009. Since then, she has recorded both solo and in various ensembles such as Myrmyr (with Agnes Szelag), Portraits and Date Palms (both with Gregg Kowalsky), and now Saariselka, with Chuck Johnson. The Ground Our Sky is the debut full-length album from Saariselka, due out on Temporary Residence Ltd. October 18th.  A record release show will take place in Oakland on October 24th.

In addition to music from Saariselka, Date Palms, and Marielle solo, we also hear brand new music from Benoît Pioulard, I Feel Like a Bombed Cathedral, and Alasdair Roberts as well as a vault piece from Gary Numan / Tubeway Army.
