V/Vm Bring You the Stars

The Caretaker "a stairway to the stars" release has sold out so it has been fully uploaded to the V/Vm site for free audio download. Additionally there have been another 12 memories added to the recent free Caretaker downloads which were made available before Christmas. The V/Vm 365 project is also gathering pace with over 100 tracks and audio pieces uploaded already this year with at least one track uploaded each day.

LPD Welcomes Back Martijn de Kleer

The Legendary Pink Dots are delighted to announce that Martijn de Kleer has stepped back into the band. This will be Marty's third spell with the band in fifteen years!  Marty will be featured on the next LPD recordings and will be joining the band on the North American tour, slated to begin in early June.

Feedback is back!

It's been a few months since The Brain has been published and there are still various elements that have not been carried over to the new format.  However, we've reintroduced the Feedback area, where only a small number of questions get answered.  Questions that are already answered in the FAQs are immediately deleted, questions that have a personal sensitivity are not made public, and the rest is fair game (anonymity is protected however).

Erik departs the Legendary Pink Dots

On Saturday, January 14, Erik Drost performed with the Legendary Pink Dots for the last time. Erik has decided to leave the band for personal reasons. His talent, style and enthusiasm brought fresh energy to the Pink Dots when he came aboard in late 2003 and he will be sadly missed. We wish him well in his endeavours and hope to hear more from him in the future.
